I specialize in wire and jewelry made from recycled objects/origami. Here you'll find mostly earrings and occasionally bracelets and necklaces.
**These are NOT FOR SALE.*** I currently only sell to my family and friends, and because I can only make jewelry during the summer and winter I won't be able to handle the increased demand from Tumblr. Alas, this is for your viewing pleasure only. If I ever decide to sell worldwide, I will post shop links here!
Yesterday, I was talking with my friend about making gears out of wire (since wire is apparently my trademark in jewelrymaking). Today: engineering-themed lunch in my college’s dining hall! The table decor? Lots and lots of gears. Hopefully the staff there can forgive my stealing a lot of them off the tables.
Steampunk jewelry, here I come! So, so excited!!!!
Hooray for finishing super-old projects! I finally had the time/motivation to complete this Avatar: The Last Airbender necklace requested by a friend over the summer. It was made with suede cord, findings, and tons of wire completely from scratch—-there was a learning process involved, but I really enjoyed making it!
This reminded me of one of my necklaces which combines pearls and spikes in a similar manner, and both inspired me to create a pair of earrings (and potentially a necklace) inspired by the theme of dual natures. I hope to upload pics of the earrings tomorrow! :)
WIP: My first headpiece! The two dangling pieces on the left still need some serious revision; plus, I’ll probably end up switching to hair combs as this will probably be too heavy for regular bobby pins.
One of my pride and joys: A Loki helmet ring I made from wire, aka my cheaper, more available version of THE ultimate Loki-helmet ring seen here (which I really, really, really, REALLY want; contrary to the description they are selling it, but it’s expensive). Some of you may have seen this earlier from my personal blog.
Because somebody once asked: would anybody be interested in seeing a tutorial for this?
